DIY Bestie Basket

Looking for a fun way to say Happy birthday or thank you to your best friend for always being supportive and understanding, without breaking the bank then keep reading!

In this article I will show you how to easily create a DIY Bestie Basket by hitting up some of my favorite discount stores like Marshalls, TJ Maxx and even Dollar Tree.

I made 2 of these DIY bestie baskets as a thank you to my Instagram followers (in the form of a giveaway) and one for my bestie which was one of the people that motivated and pushed me to follow my dreams. DIY Bestie Basket

I bought my basket at Walmart for $5 and the filler as well for $1. Dollar stores are also a great place to look for baskets and basket filler I just happened to love the style and color of these.

TIP: I bought these fillers after Easter when the items were discounted. Remember that every major holiday also has major in store discounts after the holidays sometimes up to 75% off!

I added some brown paper to add height for the items that I would be placing inside the basket.

Now the fun part, what to put inside the gift basket? Depending on who you are giving this basket to will determine what to put in it. This basket I made for my best friend so it was more spa themed items.

I found most of my items at Marshalls, discount stores are the best stores to find good quality discounted items. My favorite stores are Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Tuesday Morning.

I was also able to score this cool nail care system for $1 at dollar tree! The infused cuticle oil with real flowers I purchased at 5 Below, another one of my favorite discount stores.

I also recommend Target and Ulta for beauty items like face masks as low as $2!

Add all the items into the basket and if you would like you can wrap your gift basket with clear gift basket wrap like this one. I decided not to because I liked the look without it.
